Maybe not: You could be having implantation bleeding. After you become pregnant, there may be some light spotting for 2 days about the same time you should be having your normal period. If this is a heavy or crampy bleed, then that may represent something going wrong (miscarriage?). If this is just light spotting, then report it to your doctor at your visit.

Not necessarily: Light spotting in early pregnancy can be normal. If you have heavy bleeding and cramping, that could be a sign if an early miscarriage. You can always call your ob/gyn prior to your appointment if you are worried.
