Time to see doctor: A person with "severe pain" and "really bad chest pain" should see the doctor right away. If her own doctor is not immediately available for help, the wisest thing to do is call 911. The paramedics have oxygen, medications, and can do an ekg. The E.R. Doctor can evaluate for a possible heart attack. Even if it is not a heart attack, the E.R. Usually can provide diagnosis and treatment.
