Crestor (rosuvastatin): It is generally believed that cholesterol is produced by the body at night. The first drugs in the class (statins) were recommended to be taken with the evening meal. However, the new statins such as Crestor (rosuvastatin) have in the product labeling that it can be taken any time during the day. However, if it's not a hardship, i would still recommend that you take your Crestor (rosuvastatin) with your evening meal.
