A member asked:

What's the medicine to normalize sgpt and shot enzime in the liver?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No one med.: These are elevated when the liver sustains injury or some other stimuli as it indicates disruption of the liver cells. Therefore if the process causing this is stopped, SGOT & SGPT go back down. So no one med does this. If hepatitis, vaccine and supportive care do it, if infection, like malaria, therapy like quinine, if cancer, surgery. It depends on your underlying illness/issue.
