A member asked:

After fainting 2 times in one day, my doctor gave me a paper on near-syncope...even though my iron level was 3, and i'm extremely weak. is this normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nope: Iron level of 3, with what units? If the blood test was done in the us, that is a very low iron level. What are your hemoglobin and hematocrit levels? If they are low, which means you're anemic, that could explain your passing out episodes.
