Not unusual: It is not unusual to still not have your period 6 months after your last depoprovera shot as it is only 3 months after the medication has done its work. Be patient as the majority of women resume normal menses within 12 months.

It can be normal : Once started on Depo-Provera provera, (medroxyprogesterone) most women stop having periods some time after the third shot, 6-9 months. The Depo-Provera shot only protects you for 12-13 weeks though, and you can get pregnant if you're even a few days late on the shot, the same as missing 1 or 2 days of the pill. It is normal to go up to 9-12 months, though, before resuming regular periods from the time of your last shot.
