Morphine: Morphine is a narcotic pain medication and it is very effective in controlling acute or chronic severe pain in tablets or patch form. I guess that your father was having recurring accumulation of fluid in his lungs for which the procedure was done. Side effects of this medication includes nausea.Vomiting, constipation and addiction in long term use.
