Lower the volume: Excessive volume on the headphones can cause a temporary drop in hearing that a young person may be able to recover from, but over time, the cumulative effects can be permanent . Not really........: There really isn't anything available to restore hearing loss caused by excessive noise exposue except for hearing aids when the loss becomes excessive. The only thing one can do is to protect the hearing you have left by avoiding persistent or chronic loud noise exposure - including listening to loud music via headphones.
