Diabetic diet: If you are 24 you likely have type 1 or Insulin requiring diabetes especially if not overweight. Your doctor should sen you to a diabetic nurse clinician who is trained in teaching about the appropriate foods and amounts to eat. He or she will coordinate care with your doctor.
