my 2 year old boy has really swollen lymphodes in his neck , he has gone from 13.4kg to 11.4kg in 5 weeks and has just started with hot sweats today.

See a doctor: It may just be lymphadenitis but if a baby is losing weight like that you need to see the doctor asap.
