Could be irritation?: Good morning, i congratulate you on your service of donating the much-needed blood. It is very common to have some skin irritation at the site of applying band-aid or on the area of contact with the cleansing agent. This is not necessarily an allergy; rather it is an irritant reaction. This will go away in due course. Application of cortisone cream may make it heal faster.
