I have pain in my neckjust below my ear for several weeks no lump?

Could be spasm: Possibly inflammation of the origin of a large neck muscle called the sterno-cleido-mastoid muscle. Try ice, antiinflammatories and massage. If it doesn't improve within a week see your doctor.

Neck pain: Could also be temporomandibular joint arthritis. Stay on soft foods when symptomatic. Take Motrin or Alive. Hot compresses may help. No hard foods
