Is bentonite clay safe to take internally while breastfeeding?

No specific data: I find no specific data for this absorbent material, rarely used medically as a bulk laxative but best known as kitty litter or to plug leaks in ponds. Since it remains within the digestive tract i can see no reason it would get into breast milk.
