Few things: Most likely this is a referred pain from the shoulder. Check to see if the pain is increased with movements of the arm and shoulder. If so then this is likely a musculoskeletal problem. If the movements do not hurt then it could be a referred pain from the neck. If it has been going on for more than a few weeks, and is not any better, then go see your doc.
