Could be see doc NOW: Need to get seen, evaluated. Could be gallbladder attack, could lead to stones getting stuck en route, could lead to pancreatitis (inflammation of pancreas), could lead to infection, jaundice, etc. Get checked first, then worry about temporary relief.

Attack!: This may just be a gallbladder attack but it also may be pancreatitis. A temporary fix is rest and hydration. If your pain worsens, you must seek medical attention. If they prove that this is gallstone pancreatitis, be prepared to leave the hospital without your gallbladder. Other etiologies may include ulcer disease also.
