Short or long!: Guttate psoriasis can take a short time (weeks) or long time (months) to resolve. You can be expected to be cycled through topical steroids, systemic (preferably subcutaneous weekly methotrexate), other drugs such as leflunomide, cyclosporine, and tnf-alpha inhibitors. We do not know what will stop this in most people, but results improve through this progeression.
