Controvesial: I can't say i agree with the prednisone. A retracted tm can be due to infection so i won't argue with that...But the Prednisone may be counter productive. There has always been a controversy over antibiotics and simultaneous steroid use. If the problem persists i'd have your pcp refer to an ent..In the meantime..I'd stop the steroid.
