Variable: Lymph nodes that have lymphoma are generally large, but rubbery and movable. Firm, immovable ones are generally metastatic from an epithelial cancer like breast cancer, or from melanoma. Cancerous nodes will almost always grow, but sometimes slowly. Visit with your doctor to discuss a lymph node biopsy to know for sure.
