Not uncommon: Women who have normal monthly menses can occasionally skip a period or have a lighter than normal period. This is not uncommon or concerning if your cycles return to normal. The nature of a women's periods can also change with time, becoming lighter or heavier. If you have regular monthly menses, you are probably normal even if they are lighter.
