Likely Mittelschmerz: Mittelschmerz is one-sided, lower abdominal pain that occurs in women at or around the time of an egg is released from the ovaries (ovulation). You can use over-the-counter analgesics for the discomfort. This is benign and should resolve on its own. If it continues to be a problem, you can consider cycle control with oral contraceptives.
