Let me help you: Ththe treatments for bursitis of the hip area are. 1-avoid any activity which cause that pain to flare up. 2- physical therapy. 3-anti-inflammatory medications (motrin). 4-injection of steroid in the area. 4-the last resort surgery. Good luck.

US of hip says focal hypoechogenicity in the insertional gluteus medius fibres reflecting tendinopathy. The iliopsoas bursa and anterior hip joint are poorly delineated, no obvious effusion or iliopsoas bursitis noted. What does this mean? THANKS?
