Call your dentist: Can't tell over the internet if you have an infection, and if so, if it is from a different source or from the tooth that was extracted. In either event, you may have to take more antibiotics. Have all of your decayed teeth restored and the hopeless ones extracted so that you won't have to worry about more infections.

See your dentist: Please call the dentist who removed your molar. He/she will evaluate the area, and if appropriate, may be able to provide a soothing packing. If swollen, a different antibiotic may be in order. Call today.
