Chronic bronchitis..: Your cough is probably due to chronic bronchitis which is a form of copd. This usually occurs in smokers so if you're still smoking, you need to quit to reduce the inflammation. See your doctor as there are medications to control your symptoms. There is no cure but your cough can be controlled. No need to continue to cough! your doctor can help you quit smoking as well.
