As long as he is : Trained as a neurosurgeon or orthopedic spine surgeon if you are seeking surgical treatment otherwise for non operative care treatment can be sought from an osteopath.

OMT: Yes omt can often correct a pinched nerve. Conservative care like rest ice and time along with omt is always the first approach. Invasive procedures are a last resort if conservative treatment is not effective.
