It depends: Iron overload liver disease could result in joint pain. If you are being treated with certain medications for liver disease (i.e. Hepatitis c), then you could be experiencing "flu like" symptoms which can mimic joint aches. However this pain can also be a result of other factors including other medical conditions, so i would recommend you discuss this with either your pcp, GI or liver doctor.
