A member asked:

The doctor said i have uti, and prescribed me ciprofloxacin.. once per day (4 days) but i think cipro wasnt effective, resulted with bubbles in urine?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

UTI: Cipro (ciprofloxacin) is fine, but certain bacteria that cause UTI are becoming resistant to cipro, (ciprofloxacin) in areas where there is a lot of resistence to cipro, (ciprofloxacin) it is best to choose a different antibiotic, the dosis is usually twice daily instead once daily given for complicated UTI for 7-14 days and for 3 days for uncomplicated uti.
