It may take a more : Invasive procedures, an endoscopy (egd) , by a pediatric gastroenterologist to determine if there is a medical cause. If none can be found, it may require evaluation by mental health providers for an eating disorder. Both types of evaluations are very important, if there is any doubt as to etiology (cause).
