Dietary changes: Liver enlargement usually means steatosis or fatty changes to the liver. You should see a gastroenterologist that specializes in hepatology, or liver disease. The first step is to find out what medicines might contribute, but usually the majority of the treatment is dietary changes and weight loss. This is often reversible. If it isn't treated it is a risk factor for future liver cancer.
