i fell on my knee the other day and there is tightness in my upper front leg when i bend my leg. is that normal?

Get it checked out : Tis may becouse you have swelling inside the knee joint which can be a sign of an internal injury. An effusion (joint swelling) will cause tightness when you try to bend it and is a sign of something going on that may need some attention. Ice and rest if for a few days, if it does not improve, see a specialist.
