Urine Changes: For a patient with nephrotic syndrome, any changes in your urine should be reported to your kidney doctor (nephrologist). I am not aware of any condition where what is eaten is later smelled in the urine.

This is of no concer: In general the urine will concentrate a lot of different substances which can cause oders. The is normal and nothing to worry bout.

Yep!: Odor molecules in coffee are absorbed into your bloodstream after you drink the coffee. These compounds travel to the kidneys where they are removed and passed into your urine. They still contain their coffee-odor properties which can be detected after you urinate. You may notice this with asparagus and other foods too. This is normal and not related to the sle or nephrotic syndrome.
