Acne: A moisturizing soap like neutragena twice a day to start. Then, if you are not allergic, have your dr. Prescribe for you some Erythromycin 2% topical solution to be used twice a day on the spots, after the soap washes. Let the solution dry on your face. When clear, taper off the solution and then just use as needed.

Different options: For over the counter methods try using products that have benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, alcohol, and acetone. For prescription treatments you may be prescribed antibiotics, retinoids or vitamin a derivatives, azelaic acid, oral contraceptives, or spironolactone. Always ask a dermatologist about the possible affects and the risks vs benefits of each treatment. Make sure it's best for you.
