Perhaps: If a seizure starts focally you may experience an aura, such as fear, deja vu, focal weakness or numbness, mind-body dissociation, spaciness, confusion, visual or auditory hallucinations, but typically these are short in duration, mainly several seconds to maybe 1-2 minutes. Ambulatory eeg may help pinpoint.
