More stones?: It's possible you still have some stones in the foot or the puncture may have damaged some of the foot anatomy. I would recommend another x-ray and follow up with a foot specialist.

See Dr & get Xray: You may very well have a retained piece (-s) of the stone / foreign matter causing ongoing problems. This is not uncommon, and after months to years, they tend to try to work themselves to surface--makes it easier to identify and remove. Podiatrist or orthopedist who does feet best bets for care. Urgent care or general surgeon could also work.

Have it evaluated.: A puncture wound is caused by an object piercing the skin and creating a hole such as from stepping on a nail. Such injuries can lead to long term pain and scarring if it occurred to the bottom of the weigh bearing surface of the foot. Have it evaluate as there are some treatment option available.
