How many calories should a 15 year old have in 1 day?

It depends.: First of all, it depends on your current height and weight. Also, it depends on how much energy you're burning with physical activity each day. The best way to find out what's right for you is to talk with your doctor, who can look at your growth chart and activity level and come up with a healthy eating plan that's right for you.

Enough: There is some standard information about calories. An active female will need 2500-3000 a day and an active male will need an average of 3000-6000 a day. Dr juster is correct and this information needs to be applied specifically to an individual and the metabolic needs of that person. Height, weight, sports activity, and fast or slow metabolism all factor in.

No set answer: This really depends on the size of the child, health status, and level of daily activity.
