Probably neither: Although i did see a recent study claiming that coffee drinkers had a lower rate of oral cancer, the authors could not say whether it was a lower risk of getting oral cancer or surviving oral cancer. Personally, i doubt if it increases or decreases the incidence of getting oral cancer. We know smoking and alcohol does increase your chances of getting oral cancer. Get screened every 6 mo at dds.

Neither: Coffee is not a risk factor for oral cancer. Also, if cancer is present, coffee does not add any benefit. If you think you have oral cancer, see a dentist asap.
