New tx options: Hep c is curable. Current tx options include interferon which has some side effects. We anticipate non-interferon tx to be available late 2014. But if she is motivated and wants to get treated now, she should talk to a hepatologist and pursue current standard of care vs. Participating in a non- interferon based regimen through a clinical trial.
