Depends on time: If your surgery was less than 3 months ago then it is not unusual to have soreness or tenderness after surgery. You can try nsaids as long as you dont have any problems with taking this class of medication. Best to consult the surgeon who did the surgery.

Return to your MD: It may be too soon after your surgery since some people recover more quickly than others. As long as you continue to improve be patient.
