See a doctor: The two problems could even be unrelated/coincidental. Numbness can be caused by a pinched nerve, nerve damage, and even poor circulation. See your doctor and also ask about raynaud's disease/phenomenon which is spasm of the blood vessels in the fingers and toes illicited by exposure to cold.
