Yes, but not likely: 34 days is still quite soon after delivery, so a woman may not be ovulating yet. But if she happens to ovulate, she can get pregnant. That means a woman who has sex every few days, and is not on birth control, can get pregnant with her first postpartum ovulation before her period returns. That can be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on how far apart she wants to space her children.
