Anal fissure: You are describing a tear in the lining of the anus, called a fissure. This is usually because of hard stools, straining, and constipation. Use something like preparation H or hydrocortisone on the area, use a mild laxative or stool softener. Also helps the fill a bathtub with warm water and sitting in it a couple times a day. If this persists or worsens surgery might be needed.
