A member asked:

I don't like condoms, i heard iud creates complications for pregnancy so we want to use birth control for one year, what is the best way?or diaphram?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Patient's choice: Birth control pills, patches and the vaginal ring are all effective. Diaphragms are less effective, though just as good if combined with condoms. Condoms are the only way to protect you from diseases so are recommended until marriage. Several viral std's have little or no symptoms in men but can play havoc in women, so it is always better to be safe.
