A member asked:

Hi. i have short breath when eating, flying and on altitude . fine doing exercise, and ecocardio is fine. what could be wrong?

SOB: It is really hard to imagine why you are noting sob with eating--if you are having chest pain or indigestion or choking--one would think about reflux or aspiration. Altitude does cause problems for everyone=so i would not worry. However if the sxs persist even thought you are only 40--one would want to think about a treadmill stress test to fully r/o heart conditions.
