Nerve Pain: If it is indeed nerve pain, it will be difficult to control with otc medication. I would suggest a physician assessment to address your pain appropriately.

Motrin: I would suggest a trial of anti-inflammatory such as Motrin and see your doctor to rule out any other causes.
