I got cold about 1month and i have take medicine so long but my cold not yet health . should i continue take medicine or stop ?

Colds: The average cold lasts only about 5-10 days, however "post-viral" cough can last up to a couple weeks. That being said, i tell my patients that if the cough doesn't clear up by a month, they need to get examination to make sure nothing else is going on. Taking medicines at this point is irrelevant... The real cause of the cough needs to be determined. Best of luck!
