What are the options for a stage 4 colon cancer after reoccurrence of cancer?

It all depends: It all depends on where the cancer is now , the symptoms of the patient and in how many different places it is. Chemotherapy, radiation and surgery could all be a possibility but it all depends on the characteristics of the patient. A medical oncologist should be involved to make help the decisions. All the best, ariel.

Depends: You should discuss with your oncologist and surgeon. Where is the recurrence? If it is in many different places, then chemotherapy. If it is a single lesion in very specific places, surgery can sometimes be offered. It really depends on what the recurrence is. Your docs should be well versed on this.
