Could be...: Have you seen your ob/gyn? If you have only discomfort (no bleeding, etc) and the baby is moving, it may just be because the fetus is getting bigger (there isn't a lot of room in there). If it worsens or you start bleeding, baby doesn't move, etc. Get to your ob.

Hard to say: The us may have caused a little stretching of the round ligaments (or this could b happening even if u had not had the vaginal sonogram) and they can cause groin pain. If the pain feels like menstrual cramping and lasts for more than an hour or any bleeding u should call ur dr.
