Inconsistent Dose: Opening a capsule and taking part of the contents out will affect how much you are getting, but it will be inconsistent, since each time you open it, you may remove a different amount. Additionally, some capsules are set with a delivery system, so that they open in certain parts of the digestive tract. Opening a capsule, may affect the timing of the delivery.
