Not a good drug for: Even though strattera (atomoxetine) has anti deprassant properties, as it is a selective norepinephrine reuptake inhibiter. But it is mainly used for adhd, as it was not found to be effective antidepressant in studies in us.

Not good for depress: Straterra is a norepinephrine reuptake inhibiter and supposedly has some antidepressant properties but in us trias it was not found very effective. So it is not prescribed for depression and only used for adhd in children over the age of six, teenagers and adults.
