Depends which ones: Caffeine is generally considered a "thermogenic" because it causes some mild increase in basal metabolic rate, and is considered safe in moderation. But there are some grey and black market thermogenics such as ephedrine (ephedrine sulfate) and DNP which are NOT OK to take for the purpose of increasing body temperature. If taken in large amounts, the more powerful thermogenics (DNP) can cause fatal hyperthermia.
