Many presentations: Rabies can present as a nonspecific viral syndrome- headache, fever, weakness are common early complaints. Lethargy, loss of strength, difficulty swallowing and communicating can also be present. Seizures, respiratoy failure, and death are the typical final stages of this illness.

Rabies: Hello rabies symptoms may initially express with malaise, headache, fever & weakness. If a person has been bitten, the site may be itching or have a prickly sensation. As the disease progresses the person may feel anxious and have difficulty sleeping. They may behave unusually, experience hallucinations and develop delirium. If not treated early, rabies is usually fatal.
